Raising capital for a project or a company is a sequence of connected decisions: how it is modelled, how it is structured, who is approached, what they are told, and how the deal is negotiated and closed. When these are handled separately, the pieces do not fit together and the transaction loses time.
We handle them as one process. We build and test the financial model, advise on the financing structure, prepare the materials for lenders and investors, and coordinate due diligence, negotiation and closing. Our work is built to produce documents that funders, counsel and your own team can use directly.

Start from what funders will test
We prepare a transaction the way a lender or investor will examine it, so gaps are found and closed before they cost you time or terms.
Keep the model and the documents in agreement
The model, the contracts and the information memorandum should tell the same story. We check that they do, and keep them aligned as terms change.
Work alongside your other advisers
Legal, tax and technical questions belong with the right specialists. We coordinate with them rather than replace them.
Be plain about status and fit
You will always know what is done, what is outstanding and what could delay the transaction. If we are not the right adviser, we will say so.
Support after financial close
Basis Partners also supports lender and investor reporting, covenant tracking and portfolio monitoring. We offer this as a complement to our transaction work, for clients who want continuity after a deal has closed.
What we do not do
Basis Partners is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). Our work is analysis, preparation and coordination: models, structuring analysis, information materials, and management of diligence and closing workstreams.
We do not provide financial product or investment advice, and we do not arrange, place, introduce or solicit investments or loans. You lead all discussions with funders and take your own decisions, and you should take legal advice on regulatory questions.
